Minister of Economy meets Ambassador of Slovakia

Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili met the Ambassador of Slovakia to Georgia, Matúš Bušovský.

Trade and economic ties, as well as bilateral economic relations, were reviewed during the meeting, with a focus on the implementation of the Economic Cooperation Agreement signed between the governments of Georgia and Slovakia within the framework of the Tbilisi Silk Forum and the establishment of an Economic Commission.

The Minister and Ambassador emphasized cooperation in trade, investments, information technology, energy, logistics, real estate, civil aviation, and tourism.

Mariam Kvrivishvili and Matúš Bušovský positively assessed the launch of direct flights between Georgia and Slovakia. The Minister remarked that increased flight frequencies and destinations would contribute to the intensification of people-to-people relations, an increase in tourist flows and deepening business relations.
