Mikheil Saakashvili: Time to acknowledge that part of population simply does not care about other people’s rights
“It is time to finally acknowledge the bitter truth that a part of the population simply does not care about other people’s rights,” former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili wrote on social media.
According to Saakashvili, opposition media and activists are wasting their efforts trying to generate sympathy among part of the population over what he described as an apparent rape case.
“It is time to finally acknowledge the bitter truth. In recent days, opposition media and activists have been wasting their efforts trying to generate sympathy among part of the population over an apparent case of rape.
The fact is that, just as in 2012, this part of the population did not and still does not care about other people’s rights. They simply wanted Georgia to surrender to Russia, and they carried this out.
As for the special operation at the time, which was staged from beginning to end, this was merely an excuse to justify this cowardly act,” Saakashvili wrote.
