Michael Carpenter: Georgian government needs to take congressmen's letter seriously

Former US Former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, Senior Director of Biden Center Michael Carpenter believes that Georgian government should take letter by US congressmen seriously.

Michael Carpenter responds to the letter sent by four US congressmen to Georgian Prime Minister and notes that this is a warning from friends about negative trends.

“The Georgian government needs to take this letter seriously. This is a bipartisan shot across the bow that warns of negative trends: the politicization of government tenders, freedom of expression, judicial independence and concentration of power.
