To ensure public order and the safety of visitors at mountain and ski resorts, ski patrols of the Patrol Police Department, together with various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have begun operating with enhanced resources, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

According to the agency, ski patrols will carry out intensive patrols with increased personnel to ensure a safe environment for vacationers and maintain order on ski slopes. The officers have completed specialized training courses, are fully equipped, and are prepared to assist when necessary.

In Gudauri and Bakuriani, additional Patrol Police crews will also be deployed to maintain public order and ensure the smooth flow of traffic.

Alongside the Patrol Police Department, representatives of the Emergency Situations Management Service, Criminal Police, and Security Police will be involved in ensuring the safety of visitors at mountain and ski resorts, the Ministry stated.
