MIA launches investigation into blogger Daur Buava’s death under incitement to suicide charge

Blogger Daur Buava was found dead at his residence in Tbilisi.

The Interior Ministry told GPB First Channel that an investigation has been launched under Article 115 of the Criminal Code, which concerns incitement to suicide.

According to preliminary information, Buava had reportedly been dead for several days. No signs of violence were found on his body.

Buava’s body was discovered after neighbors called a rescue team. Several years ago, Buava moved to Tbilisi from the occupied territory of Abkhazia.
