MIA: Firefighters and rescuers actively assist citizens in Guria

Firefighters and rescuers from the Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), along with police officers, are actively assisting citizens in the Guria region, visiting residents in need due to heavy snowfall in various villages, providing food, essential household items, and medicines.

Firefighters and police have safely evacuated several families, including children and the elderly, to secure locations.

Various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including firefighters, are working in emergency mode alongside representatives from relevant agencies in western Georgia in response to the severe weather conditions.
