MIA employs drones to monitor disaster-affected area in Guria

The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has reported the mobilization of human resources, heavy machinery, amphibious vehicles, and specialized K-9 teams from their respective units to address the emergency situation in the Guria region.

“Temur Mghebrishvili, head of Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, remains in the disaster zone and coordinates the emergency command headquarters.

In the region of Guria, manpower, heavy equipment, floating vehicles and K-9 specialists have been mobilized from the relevant units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Special drones are used to monitor the disaster area,” the Ministry reported.
