MIA announces personnel reshuffle

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia (MIA) has announced personnel changes within the department.

According to the Ministry, the following appointments have been made:

– Teimuraz Kupatadze, former Director of the Central Criminal Police Department, has been appointed Chairman of the LEPL Security Police Department.

– Davit Kiknadze, Deputy Director of the Central Criminal Police Department, has been promoted to Director of the same department.

– Vazha Siradze has been appointed Director of the Tbilisi Police Department.

Levan Maisuradze, Deputy Director of the Tbilisi Police Department, has assumed the role of Director of the Patrol Police Department.

– Lasha Gogniashvili, Director of the Tbilisi Police Department, has been reassigned as Director of the Kakheti Police Department.

– Teimuraz Kalandadze, Director of the Kakheti Police Department, has been appointed Director of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Police Department.

– Levan Kvitsiani has been named Director of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department.

– Guram Natsvlishvili, Director of the Kvemo Kartli Police Department, has been transferred to lead the Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department.

– Ramaz Tatarashvili, Director of the Samtskhe-Javakheti Police Department, has been appointed Director of the Imereti Police Department.

– Zaza Tskhakaia, Director of the Imereti Police Department, has been assigned as Director of the Guria Police Department.

– Kakhaber Muradashvili, Deputy Director of the Tbilisi Police Department, has been appointed Director of the Shida Kartli Police Department.

“The ongoing personnel reshuffles within the Ministry of Internal Affairs are part of our efforts to strengthen and develop the system further,” the Ministry stated.
