MFA summons British Ambassador Gareth Ward

British Ambassador to Georgia, Gareth Ward, has been summoned to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

The ambassador has already entered the Foreign Ministry premises but has not made any statements to the media.

It is also worth noting that the German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, was similarly summoned to the Foreign Ministry yesterday, September 24.

According to the Foreign Ministry, the German ambassador was informed that, in accordance with the Vienna Convention, a member of a diplomatic mission is obliged not to interfere in the internal affairs of the host country.
