MEP Ska Keller urges Georgian government not to undermine country’s EU path progress

During the joint debate in preparation for the European Council meeting when it plans to finally decide on EU membership application of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova, the MEP Ska Keller urged the Georgian government not to undermine the country’s EU integration path progress but push it forward.

“I would like to encourage the Georgian government not to undermine the country’s path progress and to go forward making the necessary reforms,” she said when speaking about Georgia’s European ambition.

On June 23-24, the Georgian government will receive a response from the European Council to its application for EU membership, which the country has completed together with Ukraine and Moldova.
