MEP Juknevičienė: GD straight from Kremlin’s playbook

MEP Rasa Juknevičienė has reacted to the constitutional lawsuit seeking to declare the activities of the United National Movement, the Coalition for Change, and Strong Georgia – Lelo unconstitutional and to ban their operation.

In a post on social media, Juknevičienė accused the ruling Georgian Dream party of acting in accordance with Kremlin interests.

“Shocking news from Georgia. Ruling Georgian Dream filed a lawsuit to ban 3 major opposition forces — the United National Movement, Lelo and Ahali–New (part of Coalition for Change). Georgian Dream is becoming Lukashenka’s twin — straight from the Kremlin’s playbook,” Juknevičienė wrote.
