MEP calls on political parties to take up their seats in parliament
Viola von Cramon, a member of the European Parliament called on the opposition political parties to take up their seats in the parliament.
In an interview with Rustavi 2 TV Company, the MEP said she could not understand the opposition’s behavior motive.
The MEP talked about violations fixed during the 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia but said that forging scale would not have affected much on the election results. She also expressed hope that Georgia would hold fair end free elections in the future.
“During these four years we expect them to take up mandates and start working. If this does not happen, the parliament will be dysfunctional. I do not understand why the opposition is doing this. I understand their frustration and dissatisfaction is great. But they are elected by people and how they can refuse it,” Viola von Cramon said.
