Members of Strategy Builder: We wait for package of responses from the government

Sergo Chikhladze, one of the members of Strategy Builder, says that the opposition is waiting for a package of response proposals from the government. According to him, the third round of negotiations depends on the content of the proposals by the government.

“We do not have an answer from the government for the third round yet. In the coming days, we are still waiting for a package of responses from the government. As soon as we receive this package, the opposition will assemble, discuss and plan the next steps. It will be seen whether the third round makes sense, depending on what proposals the government will have. It all depends on what proposal the government will come up with”- Sergo Chikhladze said.

Georgian oppositional parties presented the approved, coordinated, and common position documented in detail to facilitator Ambassadors on December 4. The U.S. and EU Ambassadors to Georgia are facilitating the negotiations between the ruling Georgian Dream Party and the opposition, though the first two rounds ended in no promising results.
