Member of Telavi Sakrebulo imposed imprisonment

The Telavi Regional Court imposed imprisonment to Mikheil Gremelashvili, a member of Telavi Sakrebulo (City Assembly) on charge of family violence.

Judge Tamar Kapanadze did not satisfy a mediation of the defense side to release Gremelashvili on bail in the amount of 10 thousand GEL.

Mikheil Gremelashvili is accused of physical violence against his wife in presence of an underage child and illegal keeping of weapons.

The charged person does not plead guilty. He demands a meeting with General Prosecutor of Georgia. The next trial into Gremelashvili’s case is scheduled for August 27.
