Melia 'surprised' by UNM's new management's reaction over office opening
Former Chair of the United National Movement (UNM) opposition party, Nika Melia, on Monday, said he was “surprised” by UNM’s new management’s reaction over the new Tbilisi office, “which was opened due to the hard reality.”
Melia went on to say that “the hard reality was not brought about by the new Chair election, but by the party’s unfair congress, dividing the party into two.”
“Recently, the party’s situation has worsened significantly, mainly in Tbilisi. That is why we decided to continue consolidating the opposition opinion and fight for a common goal, and the party leadership was informed about the new office opening. There is strength in unity of the different, not in monotony,” Melia explained.
