Mdinaradze’s candidacy for SSSG Head to be voted on without debate at Parliament
Mamuka Mdinaradze’s candidacy for the head of the State Security Service of Georgia will be put to a vote without discussion at the upcoming plenary session, the Parliamentary Bureau decided.
The proposal was submitted by the Defense and Security Committee, which previously heard Mdinaradze in a closed session.
Parliament Chairman Shalva Papuashvili emphasized that the committee had already reviewed Mdinaradze’s candidacy.
“We have added a draft resolution on the election of Mamuka Mdinaradze as the head of the State Security Service of Georgia as a voting issue. As you know, the committee considered his candidacy, and it has recommended that the vote take place without discussion at the plenary session,” Papuashvili said.
