Mayor Kaladze: It is special day as we celebrate Tbilisi’s day

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has congratulated the public on Tbilisoba, the annual celebration of the capital.

As part of the Tbilisoba festivities, Kaladze, together with Deputy Mayor Giorgi Tkemaladze and Deputy Mayors Irakli Bendeliani and Andria Basilaia, visited the renovated Orbeliani Square, where he toured the festive area set up for the celebrations and met with entrepreneurs.

“I want to congratulate the residents of the capital and all of Georgia on Tbilisoba. This is a special day, as we are celebrating the day of our city. This year, quite large-scale events have been planned at various locations. You can see how many people have come out. The weather has also been favorable, creating a pleasant atmosphere. There are many tourists as well.

“I am very happy that there is such a positive mood and a pleasant atmosphere everywhere, with so many people around. Congratulations to everyone! I wish success to all of Georgia. Above all, I wish our country continued peace and joy,” the Tbilisi mayor said.

Events dedicated to Tbilisoba have been taking place across the capital for two days. The awarding of honorary Tbilisi residents is also scheduled for this evening.
