Marneuli Municipality cancels festive events for Novruz bayramı, Ramazan Bayramı

Marneuli Municipality has cancelled all festive events for Novruz bayramı and Ramazan Bayramı due to the death of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II.

The local government of the Marneuli Municipality expressed deep sorrow over the death of Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II. We confirm that all festive events for Novruz bayramı, Ramazan Bayramı have been cancelled,” it wrote.

Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II passed away on March 17 at the age of 93.
