Mariam Shengelia takes Eurovision semi-final stage as contestant number 10
The second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest is set to take place tonight at 11 p.m. in Basel, Switzerland. Georgia’s representative, Mariam Shengelia, will perform her entry, “Freedom.”
Joining Georgia in this semi-final are the following countries: Austria, Lithuania, Armenia, Montenegro, Greece, Ireland, Australia, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Israel, Malta, Finland, Denmark, Luxembourg, and Serbia. Additionally, performers from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom will also appear on stage.
Viewers from participating countries will have the opportunity to vote after all performances, while audiences in non-participating nations can cast their votes via ESC.VOTE. According to contest rules, viewers are not allowed to vote for their own country.
In the semi-finals, only the public vote determines which countries advance to the final—jury votes do not influence the results at this stage.
The GPB First Channel will broadcast the event live.
