Man dies after falling from railway station watchtower

A 56-year-old man died after falling from the railway station watchtower, – “New Trade Union of Railways” reported. The man died at work site at “Samtredia I” railway station.

“The labor inspectors of the New Trade Union of Railways” will study the incident on the ground and present a relevant conclusion in the nearest future.

The Inspection Department of the Ministry of Labor examined the JSC “Georgian Railway” last year and detected a lot of facts of violation of labor safety. The department has issued 7a 00-page letter of recommendations.
