Mamuka Bakhtadze: Work has been launched on stricter legislation applicable to both natural gas suppliers and users
Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze offers his condolences to the families of the seven victims of carbon monoxide. As the Head of Government stated during eh briefing before today’s Government meeting, once and for all, there can be no more deaths in Georgia due to systemic gaps in natural gas supply or different cases of negligence and carelessness.
“Work has been launched on stricter legislation applicable to both suppliers and users. No matter how hard it may be to talk about it we are obligated to do everything to make sure that tragedies like this do not happen in the future. It is equally necessary to inform citizens and provide information about the grave consequences of failure to observe rules for using natural gas and unauthorized actions,” Mamuka Bakhtadze said.
