Georgian President to attend Queen Elizabeth II's state funeral

The UK today is saying goodbye to Queen Elizabeth II.

Her state funeral will take place at Westminster Abbey in London at 11:00 BST, with 2,000 people in attendance.

Foreign royals and up to 500 world leaders, including Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will join the state funeral.

After the service, the Queen’s coffin will be taken from the abbey to Wellington Arch, at London’s Hyde Park Corner.

Queen Elizabeth II, who died last week at the age of 96, is set to be buried at St. George’s Chapel within the grounds of Windsor Castle, one of the late Queen’s favorite homes and where many royals have been laid to rest before her.
