Liberty Bank cuts upper limit of pension loans to 26%

Effective 2023, Liberty Bank will reduce the upper limit of pension loans from 36% to 26%.

According to the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Levan Ioselian, “26 % is not ideal either, although compared to 36 %, it is a significant benefit for pensioners.”

The MP brought up the issue of already-issued loans, which are unaffected by the latest action, as a problem that still has to be resolved.

“We are working so that maybe these funds are restructured for the pensioners, the bank will provide a benefit to the pensioners,” he added.
