Levan Machavariani: Joe Wilson cares less about Georgia, Georgian people; he gets paid for his statements

“Joe Wilson gets paid for his statements, which is reflected in the FARA documents. This is an individual who bargains with flags and inauguration invitations. He is so shameful that the head of his delegation did not admit him on board the plane,” said Levan Machavariani, a member of the Georgian Dream (GD) party.

According to Machavariani, it is irrelevant what Joe Wilson initiates.

“The Trump Administration shapes the U.S. political agenda, and we expect concrete steps from them. Joe Wilson cares less about Georgia and the Georgian people; he gets paid for his statements from the Collective National Movement, which is confirmed by FARA documents to initiate all this, to draft resolution texts and make a fuss, so that the media outlets of the ‘agent-like’ opposition have material to produce a news story,” he said.
