Former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili, has left the building of the State Security Service of Georgia after being questioned.
According to available information, Davitashvili was questioned as part of an ongoing investigation by the agency’s Anti-Corruption division regarding an agreement signed with a major oil company.
Former head of the Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation, Giorgi Chikovani, was also present for questioning.
