Lelo’s Kupradze: Lelo will be leading force in political change

Member of Lelo – Strong Georgia, Irakli Kupradze, stated that the party will play a leading role in efforts aimed at removing Bidzina Ivanishvili from power.

According to Kupradze, Lelo has remained consistent and statesmanlike in its strategic approach.

“We always say that elections are the only correct and peaceful way to change the government. To be able to send Bidzina Ivanishvili out of power, Lelo is ready to engage on every political front and will participate in all elections,” he said.

He also criticized parts of the opposition for what he described as past inconsistencies, including boycott strategies and “election nihilism,” arguing that such approaches have weakened the role of elections in political life.

“This inconsistency has damaged the idea of elections, but it is positive that this attitude is changing. The opposition must return to a proper strategic struggle to represent citizens’ interests and to achieve political change,” Kupradze noted.

He added that Lelo aims to be a leading force in this process.

“In this struggle, Lelo will be the leading force making a major contribution to removing Bidzina Ivanishvili from power,” he said.
