Grigol Gegelia, a member of the Lelo party reported that he had been attacked by an unknown individual at his residential place.

The Lelo member stated that he was verbally and then physically assaulted. The police will question him at the Saburtalo Department.

Lelo member Saba Buadze said the attack is the outcome of a “toxic environment” in the country created by the illegitimate force.

“This attack will not scare Grigol Gegelia. This is another demonstration of the dreadful image of this illegitimate gang when criminals physically assault an individual in the presence of his wife.

Politicians and everybody, who has different viewpoints and opposes this illegitimate anti-Georgian force called Ivanishvili’s Georgian Dream are attacked and oppressed in various forms. Grigol Gegelia as many others will respond with calmness and a consistent fight in which we are all involved,” Saba Buadze stated.
