Kutaisi University to host Confucius Institute

Confucius Institute will open at the Kutaisi University (Unik). China International Education Foundation favored and supported a joint initiative of Xinjiang Medical University and Kutaisi University, the university informed.

“The Confucius Institute at Kutaisi University (Unik) will open in September 2021 and would allow Georgian students to study the Chinese language, engage in educational exchange projects and share Chinese culture,” Kutaisi University said.

The China International Education Foundation is ready to allocate human and material resources, and provide technical assistance to Kutaisi University.

“Kutaisi University international relations service and top management are pleased that the Confucius Institute would promote economic and cultural relations between Georgia and the People’s Republic of China,” the Kutaisi University stated.
