Kopitnari railway station will be very convenient for both foreign tourists and Georgians traveling by low-cost airlines from the Kutaisi International Airport, according to Dachi Tsaguria, Director of the Passenger Transportation Branch of the Georgian Railway.

According to Tsaguria, train tickets will be available on April 29. “The service will include a train ticket and a special transport provided by the Union of Airports from Kutaisi Airport Railway Station to the International Airport to serve virtually all passengers, both arriving and departing. Per the governmental decree, additional services from the railway station to the airport are complimentary.

All trains traveling west and passing through this section will stop at this new railway station, and passengers will be able to take advantage of this innovation,” Dachi Tsaguria explained.

Trains will stop at Kopitnari’s modernized railway station from April 30.
