Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán in Budapest during his official visit.
According to the Georgian Prime Minister’s press service, the two leaders discussed key areas of bilateral and multilateral cooperation during their face-to-face meeting. They talked about the importance of the intergovernmental commission format in promoting further partnership development across various sectors.
The leaders highlighted the high-level political relations between Georgia and Hungary and explored prospects for deepening trade and economic ties even further.
The meeting once again emphasised the particular importance of peace and stability in the region.
Kobakhidze thanked his Hungarian colleague for Hungary’s strong support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the country’s European integration aspirations, the Prime Minister’s press office reported.
