Kindergarten employees' wages to increase by 15 per cent

“All 11 188 employees of Tbilisi Public Kindergartens will receive wages increased by 15 per cent from this month,” Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced at the municipal government meeting.

“These are the people engaged in crucial, time-consuming and responsible work. Their salaries are very low. Therefore, the decision was made to increase their pay by 15 per cent,” Kaladze said.

Upon the decision of the Georgian government, wages for employees of public institutions increased by 10 per cent in 2023.
