Khvicha Kvaratskhelia becomes captain of Georgian national football team

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia will be the captain of the Georgian national football team, while vice-captain Otar Kiteishvili.

The decision was made following Captain Guram Kashia’s announcement on the completion of his career.

Guram Kashia will not be at the training camp for the March matches. He will officially bid farewell to the Crusaders on June 2, after the match against Romania.

The Georgian football team is preparing for a friendly match. The team will face Israel on March 26 in Tbilisi, while it will play a match against Lithuania on March 29 in Kaunas.
