Kakha Kaladze: Recount of votes of the eleven precincts confirmed that election fraud did not take place
The recount of votes of the eleven precincts confirmed that election fraud did not take place, – said Kakha Kaladze, secretary-general of the Georgian Dream, Tbilisi Mayor.
As he notes, the inaccuracies in the protocols of these precincts were only technical.
The secretary-general of the Georgian Dream also responded to yesterday’s developments near the district election commissions in Tbilisi and other regions.
“Unfortunately, the recount of votes at polling stations took place against the background of the destruction of the opposition. Both in front of the buildings of the district commissions and in the buildings, several dozen oppositionists tried to organize riots, demanding the presence of party representatives, while the representatives of these parties, their authorized persons were inside the district commissions and participated in the recount process. Recount of polling stations and refinement of the election results are not in their interests. On the contrary, clarification of the data proves that their allegations about the election fraud have no grounds”, – Kakha Kaladze said.
According to him, the authorities will not allow anyone, including political forces with a criminal past, to organize riots in the country.
