The business support in the process of implementing Tbilisi Night Economy Development project is very important, – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze made the regarding statement at the presentation of the project concept.

According to him the Night Economy Development project is of utmost importance for economic development of the city and involvement of all parties, including business sector is essential.

“We do not invent anything new, we want to adopt the best examples, as it is in normal, developed countries and cities.

Only the City Hall will not be able to implement this project. The participation of everyone is very important. Night economy development envisages creation of new jobs, participation of the representatives of different age groups. Naturally, business support will be very important in the implementation of this project.

In this context we are talking about the issue related to municipal transport participation, noise regulation, security measures, and we are already cooperate with the Ministry of Internal Affairs in these directions. In addition, it implies the development of the cultural and art industry and its formation as an economic sector” – Kaladze said.

According to Mayor, development of different parts of the capital and the proper use of their potential are important. “We should not be focused only on the central districts of the city and the development of the capital should be carried out evenly, ” – said Kakha Kaladze.

The Tbilisi Mayor emphasized the engagement the advertising industry in this process.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze has presented the project on Tbilisi Night Economy Development at Biltmore Hotel today.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze appointed Sergi Gvarjaladze, TV producer and musician as Head of ‘Night Economy Development’ in Tbilisi in March of the current year. Kaladze said that the direction was both important and novelty.
