Kakha Kaladze: Our government is guarantor of holding second round of presidential elections in a free, transparent and democratic environment

Our government is a guarantor that the second round of presidential elections and generally all elections in this country will be held in a free, transparent and democratic environment, – Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze made this statement at the briefing today.

As Kakha Kaladze noted, the second round of presidential elections is held for the first time in the history of Georgia, which emphasizes establishment of high democracy and electoral standards since 2012.

“On behalf of our entire team, I would like to clearly state that, first of all, it is in the interests of the authorities to conduct the second round of presidential elections in accordance with the highest democratic standards. Therefore, as the secretary general of the political party “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia” I would like to appeal to all international observatory organizations with a request to send as many observers as possible in order to see how the processes will be processed in our country”, – Kaladze said.
