We are Europeans with our worldview, diverse culture, past, history and we should take care of all these, “Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said.

The Mayor congratulated gathered people on European Days. “We are all well aware of what our main goal- this is membership of a big family that is called Europe, I understand that this is a very difficult way but we will be able to carry out the reforms, overcome the barriers and to achieve the result eventually – We will become a member of the great family, called European Union, in recent years we have made important steps, carried out important reforms and as the result of it our citizens can freely travel to European countries without visas. We are a European country, we are Europeans with our worldview, diverse cultures, our past. We need to take care of all these,” Kaladze said.

Tbilisi Mayor recalled late Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania’s famous phrase “I am Georgian, therefore I am European.”

Meetings in the regions, training and information meetings will be held at schools within the framework of European Days, which is being held for already the 6^th time. European Days 2018 will last till May 22.
