Justice Ministry hosts session of interagency commission for free and fair elections

The Ministry of Justice reports that the latest session of the Interagency Commission for Free and Fair Elections was held at the Ministry.

According to the agency, commission members reviewed and discussed information circulated in the media regarding possible violations of election legislation by public servants during the monitoring of the election environment. Following the review, no significant violations were identified at this stage.

The Ministry emphasized that the Interagency Commission, established under the Election Code, is tasked with preventing violations of election legislation by public servants, responding promptly to possible cases, and developing relevant recommendations.

Chaired by Justice Minister Paata Salia, the Commission brings together high-ranking representatives from various state agencies to ensure coordinated and effective work.

The Commission will continue its activities until the Central Election Commission officially publishes the final election results.
