Georgian Minister of Justice Paata Salia is participating in the Council of Europe Justice Ministers’ Conference in Strasbourg, the Ministry of Justice announced.
The conference focuses on exchanging experience among member states of the Council of Europe on combating money laundering and financial crime, as well as discussing effective response mechanisms to existing challenges.
The high-level event is organized by the Council of Europe and brings together justice ministers from member states, representatives of the European Court of Human Rights, and experts in combating money laundering and financial crime.
Minister Salia is expected to address participants during the first plenary session, which focuses on early detection of crime, presenting Georgia’s experience in combating and preventing financial crime.
