Journalist Vakho Sanaia handed 14 days of administrative detention for social media post

Journalist Vakho Sanaia has been sentenced to 14 days of administrative detention following a social media post concerning Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili and MP Vladimer Bozhadze. Judge Zviad Tsekvava has delivered the ruling.

The case was referred to Tbilisi City Court for legal action by the Anti-Hate Speech Division, a specialised unit established within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
