“Today, we take a historic step towards a stronger European family by opening negotiation with Ukraine and Moldova, granting candidate status to Georgia, and opening negotiations with Bosnia and Herzegovina once the necessary degree of compliance with membership criteria is reached,” said Josep Borrell, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of EU Commission.
