The Minister of Finance is expected at the parliament. Ivane Machavariani will be listened within the format of “Minister’s Hour” today.

According to Irakli Kovzanadze, Chairman of the Committee on Finance and Budget, the Minister of Finance will focus on ongoing reforms in the financial sector. Also, according to Kovzanadze, the major question for lawmakers will be how effectively the 2020 budget is being implemented.

Parliamentary opposition continues to boycott and will not attend the session of the parliament. Zurab Chiaberashvili, one of the members of European Georgia, negatively evaluates the Minister of Finance’s work and focuses on increased prices.
