ITB Berlin offers Georgia opportunity to reach new markets, Deputy Minister says
The world’s largest tourist exhibition, ITB Berlin 2023, has officially closed. Georgia was featured as Host Country under the Infinite Hospitality theme at the fair this year.
Georgia presented information about the potential of the country’s tourism sector, traditions, and other attractions to representatives from more than 180 states and up to 200,000 visitors.
About 5,000 media representatives from around the world covered the event.
“At the Berlin exhibition, we had an interesting and comprehensive pavilion. We provided detailed information about Georgia’s unique cultural heritage, natural monuments, outstanding folklore, delectable cuisine, and 8,000-year-long continuous winemaking history. We also can be proud of modern achievements, sustainably developing resorts,” Mariam Kvrivishvili, Georgian Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, stated.
Georgia’s participation as a host country at ITB Berlin 2023, according to Deputy Minister, will significantly increase the number of international travelers in the country and successfully bring the country to new target markets.
