Issuing of basic general education certificates commences across Georgia
The distribution of basic general education certificates (covering Grades 9 and 10) has officially commenced today for students graduating from the basic tier of the 2025–2026 academic year.
The announcement was made by the Education Management Information System (EMIS).
According to the agency, applications for the certificates can be submitted at the territorial offices of the Public Service Development Agency, Public Service Halls (Justice Houses), and Mobile Public Service Halls.
“Graduates of the 2025–2026 academic year basic tier who apply to the relevant authorities by December 31, 2026, inclusive, will receive their certificates free of charge on the 10th working day following the submission of their application,” the statement from the Education Management Information System read.
“The application for the certificate may be submitted either by the basic secondary graduate themselves, provided they hold a valid identity document, or by their legal representative.
The Education Management Information System urges graduates to adhere to the designated deadlines to collect their documents,” reads the statement of the Education Management Information System.
