“Vetting conflicts with Georgia’s acting Constitution, Constitutional law principles,” said Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to the PM, the issue of vetting is closed for the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party because it is against democratic principles and is “unaccaptable.”
“Constitutional law, the rule of law and the principle of judicial independence stand above all. Under no circumstances, we will allow these principles to be undermined,” he said.
