Israeli PM believes Georgia-Israel relations can reach even greater heights
We can bring our relations to even greater heights. I welcome this opportunity to do this on your visit, said the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, during the meeting with the Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili, in Israel.
According to him, Israel and Georgia have very warm relations.
“Prime Minister, it’s a delight to welcome you. Georgia and Israel have had very warm relations. Our connections go back 25 hundred years, perhaps even 26 hundred years, to the Jewish community in Georgia. We have many, many Jews who came from Georgia. It’s a living bridge. I myself had the opportunity to visit Georgia, and I know that we can bring our relations to even greater heights. I welcome this opportunity to do this on your visit, so you are welcome in Tel Aviv, and in Jerusalem next time. Next time in Jerusalem, as we say,” Benjamin Netanyahu declared.
