Israeli Ambassador to Georgia Hadas Ester Meitzad has deemed Georgia’s support “very strong.”
In an interview with media outlets, the Ambassador said “From day one, public clear condemnation solidarity which was reiterated in the public sphere, in private meetings held with the Prime Minister, with the President, with various ministers, and with the speaker of the Parliament. And also a spontaneous act of support.”
“We are thankful to have Georgia standing with us on the political level, on the official level, and also on the human, friendly, the most basic level,” she added.
The Palestinian militant group Hamas launched an attack on Israel on 7 October, killing more than 1,400 people.
