Irakli Sesiashvili comments on Daily Mail's article on Kremlin-linked cyberattack
The Chair of Defense and Security Committee, Irakli Sesiashvili does not confirm the information published by Daily Mail on Saturday.
Sesiashvili responded to the opponents as well and noted that ” Georgia is not involved in this negative case, however, they want this to happen.”
Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia echoed this case earlier today and said that “the information published in British tabloid is an attempt to discredit the cooperation Georgia has with partners.”
Daily Mail reported on Saturday that “Kremlin-linked cyber hackers stole highly confidential details of hundreds of Britons taking part in medical trials for COVID-19. British tabloid added that “the hackers are based in Georgia and linked to the Kremlin and the Russian security services.”
