Russian propaganda is disturbing and active work is needed to prevent appropriate risks — Parliament’s Chairman Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters on Wednesday, however the Speaker did not specify whether the legislation is tightening in this regard.
“The Russian propaganda is alarming. Active work is needed to prevent appropriate risks. We are working on this issue, including with our international partners. Protection of our national interests is important for us and under the circumstances, when two our historical regions are occupied, such propaganda is absolutely unacceptable for me.
I cannot tell you what measures can be taken, but for us it is important to ensure our strategic goals and continue to work for realization of foreign policy priorities,” Kobakhidze said.
