Irakli Kobakhidze – President’s behavior is disrespect to legislation and parliament
The move of President Giorgi Margvelashvili, unfortunately, represents disrespect to Georgian legislation and Parliament – Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament thus commented about the behavior of president’s leaving the parliament session hall in protest.
The departure was preceded by a verbal conflict between President and Chairman of Parliament. Kobakhidze explained the procedures of debates and consequence of speech deliverers.
Margvelashvili was asking to be given the opportunity to respond to questions after delivery of speeches by MPs. Kobakhidze clarified that President would be allowed to give answers to all questions in a final speech.
