Irakli Kobakhidze – Parliamentary Resolution confirms that our policy is unwavering
The resolution approved by the Georgian parliament today once again confirms that our policy, priorities, principles and values guided by Prime Minister in his statement, remain unwavering – Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of Parliament said during the briefing after approval of the resolution into case of Archil Tatunashvili, Georgian citizen who died in occupied Tskhinvali region.
“Prime Minister made a public statement several days ago through which the Georgian government expressed readiness to hold a dialog with the Russian Federation in regulation of Georgia-Russia conflict.
This included activation of Geneva format of negotiations and deepening of relations with Abkhazians and Ossetians for restoration of trust. The resolution is targeted at this spirit and purposes,” Kobakhidze said. He also thanked lawmakers for backing the resolution.
With 106 votes for, Georgian parliament approved the resolution into case of Archil Tatunashvili, Georgian citizen who died in occupied Tskhinvali region.
